Their flight is tauntingBirds taunt me with their freedom, up there, so close to the clouds and to the Sun. They fly and see so much more than I could ever see, from a perspective that I can only dream of. They float, and glide above us, with the wind under their wings. Gotta be important enoughOn the drive back, he and I were passing by a very nice apartment complex: gate, parking garage, security... the works. He says: "You gotta have some dough to leave here, ain't it?!" I say: "Yes, in these days, you gotta have the money that makes you important enough to be safe". He fakes a chuckle, and as it's fading off, says: "That's not even funny... 'cause it's true".Gotta be important enough
And as we kept driving, my mind wondered and I realized, in these days, you have to have the money that makes you important enough for others to consider you deserving of a lot of other things: health, education, hobbies, and even good food.
